Latin Music Awards Announces Initial Performer Slate for October Gala
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards has revealed its first group of performers, including Tito Double P, Ozuna, Pablo Alborán, and others, for the Oct. 22 ceremony. Peso Pluma leads the finalists with 17 nominations across categories. The show will broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock from Miami.
The initial performer lineup spans multiple Latin genres, pairing regional Mexican acts like Tito Double P and Xavi with pop and tropical artists including Pablo Alborán and Víctor Manuelle. The ceremony's 47 competitive categories cover Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm, and regional Mexican, with honorary awards including the Vanguard, Lifetime Achievement, and Spirit of Hope distinctions. Rubén Blades is set to receive the Icon Award.
The gala coincides with Billboard Latin Music Week, scheduled Oct. 19-21 at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, featuring speakers such as Fuerza Regida, Maluma, and Pitbull. Broadcast will reach audiences across Telemundo, Peacock, Universo, and Telemundo Internacional throughout Latin America and the Caribbean from the James L. Knight Center.
