TCL's 85-inch QD-Mini LED Google TV drops to $898 at Walmart
TCL's QM6K series 85-inch TV is now available at Walmart for $898 after a $200 discount. It features a 144Hz refresh rate, QD-Mini LED panel, and supports AMD FreeSync Premium. The TV runs Google TV and includes Onkyo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The QM6K series pairs its 144Hz panel with AMD FreeSync Premium, making it suited for both console and PC gaming. The built-in Onkyo 2.1 audio system includes a subwoofer and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X, reducing the need for a separate soundbar.
On the software side, Google TV provides access to streaming apps, Chromecast, and AirPlay 2, while voice controls can manage connected smart home devices. The $200 discount brings the set to $898, down from its $1,098 list price.
Large-screen TVs at sub-$900 prices could accelerate the shift away from traditional cinema outings, as more households gain access to theater-like experiences at home.
