ExpertFlyer streamlines flight monitoring with automated alerts and disruption suggestions
ExpertFlyer now lets Premium and Elite members generate multiple flight alerts by forwarding booking confirmation emails, reducing manual setup. A new public beta feature can notify travelers of major schedule changes, delays, or cancellations and propose alternative flights. The platform also introduced a blog, free monthly webinars, and an affiliate program for travel creators.
The automated alerts system builds on ExpertFlyer's existing Quick Alerts tool, which consolidates three monitoring types into a single form: flight alerts for zeroed-out flights or award/upgrade availability, schedule alerts for retimed departures, and aircraft change alerts for swapped equipment or seat layouts. Users forward booking confirmations to createalerts@expertflyer.com from their registered email, and the system generates alerts for every segment automatically. Setting an auto-forward rule in an email client removes all manual steps entirely.
