Rocky Horror Show Bobbleheads Set for Kickstarter Launch
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is launching a Kickstarter campaign to create the first bobbleheads based on Richard O'Brien's 1973 stage musical The Rocky Horror Show. The collection will feature seven characters, including Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Rocky, Brad, Janet, Magenta, Riff Raff, and Columbia. A Kickstarter-exclusive Frank-N-Furter figure will be available only to backers, depicting the character in his iconic outfit.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is behind this new project, which marks the first time the 1973 stage musical has been adapted into bobblehead form. The seven-figure lineup covers the main cast of Richard O'Brien's cult classic, from the transvestite scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter to the newly created Rocky, along with the ordinary couple Brad and Janet who stumble into his castle. Servants Magenta and Riff Raff and groupie Columbia round out the set.
Backers will have access to an exclusive Frank-N-Furter variant in his signature outfit, tying directly to the show's enduring visual identity.
