Vi Meets TRAI Network Quality Benchmarks Across All 22 Circles in July
Vodafone Idea reported 100 percent network availability across all 22 licensed service areas in July 2026, according to TRAI's Quality of Service framework. Delhi recorded the highest 80th-percentile download speed at 162.19 Mbps, while Himachal Pradesh had the weakest performance. The operator also met call setup success-rate benchmarks in every circle.
TRAI's compliance data shows Vi's network held steady across all regions in July, with every service area reporting full working-cell availability. Downtime remained within regulatory ceilings, ranging from 0.07 percent in Kerala to 0.61 percent in the North East. Mumbai saw the highest proportion of severely affected cells at 1.31 percent, still beneath the 1.5 percent cap.
Voice connectivity also met standards everywhere. Intra-network call setup success varied from 99.08 percent in Karnataka to a perfect 100 percent in Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Goa. Inter-operator connections cleared the 95 percent threshold across all circles, with Himachal Pradesh leading at 99.96 percent. No district reported outages beyond four hours.
This compliance record may reassure subscribers across India that basic network reliability is being maintained, even in remote circles. Yet the sharp contrast between Delhi's 162 Mbps speeds and weaker performance in Himachal Pradesh suggests data experience remains uneven, potentially affecting students, remote workers, and small businesses in less urbanized areas. Consumers in slower regions could continue facing limitations in streaming, video calls, and cloud-based services despite overall regulatory compliance.
