Ponant's Yacht Club program grants status based solely on the number of sailings, regardless of voyage length or cabin type. Members can earn credits from both Ponant and Paul Gauguin Cruises, and even the entry level offers discounts and onboard credits. The program uses playful ranks like Admiral and Commodore.
The program's four tiers—Major, Admiral, Grand Admiral, and Commodore—are unlocked at two, four, seven, and twenty completed sailings respectively. Each tier brings escalating rewards, starting with a 5% booking discount and 50 euros in onboard credit at the entry level, rising to 12.5% and 200 euros at the top tier. Additional perks include onboard spending savings of up to 25% at higher levels.
A distinctive feature is that status hinges purely on the number of voyages taken, not on voyage duration or cabin category. This means a short expedition cruise counts the same as a lengthy transoceanic crossing. Furthermore, sailings with Paul Gauguin Cruises, which joined the Ponant group in 2019, also earn credits, effectively merging both brands' loyalty structures into one unified system.
