Tokenized equities on Solana may broaden access to fractional, 24/7 trading and DeFi use, potentially benefiting retail investors and issuers. It could also introduce risks around custody, redemption, investor rights, and jurisdiction. Market participants, regulators, and traditional brokerages may face pressure to adapt. Overall impact depends on safeguards, liquidity, and whether these products deliver advantages beyond existing brokerage systems.
