Zingerman’s Tailgate Returns to Support Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels
Zingerman’s Deli will host a pregame tailgate at Rynearson Stadium on Sept. 26 before Eastern Michigan faces Lindenwood. The event starts at 11 a.m., with kickoff at 1 p.m., and proceeds from ticket sales go to Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels. Attendees can expect barbecue mini sandwiches, Bakehouse coffee cakes, pimento cheese, games, kids’ activities, and a postgame photo with mascot Swoop.
Zingerman’s Deli is again combining football and fundraising. The Sept. 26 tailgate at Rynearson Stadium starts at 11 a.m., two hours before Eastern Michigan faces Lindenwood. Ticket holders get reserved seats near midfield.
The food lineup includes barbecue chicken and beef mini sandwiches, Bakehouse coffee cakes, and pimento cheese. There are prize games, kids’ activities, and a postgame End Zone photo with Swoop. Tickets are $40 per adult, $18 per youth, or $100 for two adults and two kids. Proceeds support Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels.
