Off-Broadway Horror A Ghost in Your Ear Puts Tickets on Sale
Tickets are now available for the immersive off-Broadway horror show A Ghost in Your Ear. Lucas Iverson and Owen Campbell star in the production, written and directed by Tony nominee Jamie Armitage. Performances begin October 3 at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre and run through November 22.
The production places viewers inside a fictional audiobook session, where a tardy actor receives a ghost story script and the recording gradually releases its horrors into the studio. Headphones using binaural audio are central to the experience, aiming to surround each attendee with sound.
Lucas Iverson, seen on The Pitt and The Gilded Age, makes his off-Broadway debut. Owen Campbell, whose Broadway credit is Hangmen and whose films include X and The Miseducation of Cameron Post, joins him. Tony-nominated Jamie Armitage writes and directs; Ben and Max Ringham, Anisha Fields, and Ben Jacobs round out the creative team.
This headphone-driven horror production could attract younger and genre-curious audiences who might not attend traditional off-Broadway plays, while fans of its screen and stage cast may follow them.
