KingsLane Group Buys Hilton Garden Inn in Longview, Texas

KingsLane Group has acquired the Hilton Garden Inn Longview, a 122-room hotel near Highway 259 in Longview, Texas. The property offers an indoor pool with a lazy river, a fitness center, dining, and 7,350 square feet of event space. KingsLane said it focuses on markets with steady local business demand rather than tourism-driven gateway cities.
KingsLane Group bought the 122-room Hilton Garden Inn Longview. It sits near Highway 259, roughly ten minutes from downtown, close to medical providers, business parks, schools, and commercial hubs. Amenities include an indoor pool with a lazy river and children's area, a 24-hour gym, restaurant and bar, business services, four meeting rooms, and 7,350 square feet of event space.
Longview's economy spans healthcare, manufacturing, education, and retail, supporting business travel throughout the year. Major employers include Eastman Chemical and CHRISTUS Good Shepherd, while Interstate 20 and U.S. Highway 80 link the area regionally. KingsLane says it targets markets with consistent demand from local employers instead of tourism-dependent major hubs, and plans to learn from the existing team before changes.
The acquisition could affect Longview's business travelers, event planners, hotel staff, and nearby employers by keeping a full-service property active and potentially improving operations. Local groups may continue to rely on its meeting space and amenities for conferences, training, weddings, and social gatherings. If KingsLane's secondary-market strategy succeeds, it may encourage more hospitality investment in similar non-gateway cities, though outcomes depend on execution and local demand.
