The first participant is Ambassadors Inn & Suites, a 102-room Virginia Beach hotel owned by Harshad Barot and relatives.
The property sits near the Virginia Beach Convention Center and roughly five blocks from the oceanfront. Its family operators have run it for over twenty years. Onboarding includes technology and commercial upgrades, with complete Landingplace integration and its formal Borderless debut planned for December 2026.
The alliance may give independent hoteliers access to tools usually associated with larger brands, potentially helping them compete and preserve local character. Travelers could see more varied lodging choices with improved booking and loyalty benefits.
