The Vice City Collection remained available for pre-order in both US and UK Rockstar Store locations a day after launch. It costs around $400 and does not include a copy of GTA 6, digital or physical. Fans had requested a collector's edition after learning the game would not receive a standard physical release.
By contrast, other GTA 6 items have moved quickly. Limited-edition DualSense controllers and a collector's vinyl for the game's album sold out rapidly. Dataminers first spotted unannounced Rockstar Store listings, including the eventual collector's edition, before its official confirmation.
The high price may test how much devoted players will spend on premium merchandise tied to a major release. Collectors and superfans could feel priced out, while Rockstar may learn that even blockbuster brands cannot guarantee instant sellouts for non-game bundles. If availability continues, resellers may have less influence, and ordinary buyers might find the item easier to obtain. The outcome could also shape how publishers package future collector's editions, especially when a game itself is not included.
