Delta Force Marks Second Anniversary with Rewards and Major Future Updates

Delta Force is celebrating its second anniversary with in-game rewards, including daily tasks worth up to 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets and a legendary AUG appearance called Golden State. Developer Team Jade has outlined future updates such as new maps, modes, gameplay adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements. A major addition is the early 2027 Operations map Siege: Valkyrie, built with Unreal Engine 5, and matchmaking will for the first time mix players from different difficulty tiers.
Team Jade’s shooter began on PC and later reached mobile and Xbox Series X|S. Its second-anniversary event starts September 26, offering daily objectives that can yield as many as 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets plus a legendary AUG skin named Golden State.
Looking ahead, Siege: Valkyrie arrives in early 2027 as an Operations map using Unreal Engine 5. It splits a besieged city into a wealthy, dangerous inner zone and a struggling outer zone. Matchmaking will, for the first time, place players from different difficulty tiers together. Detonation’s bomb-defusal beta begins September 27 on PC and mobile, with consoles later.
The anniversary rewards and planned updates may strengthen engagement among existing Delta Force players, while mixed-tier matchmaking could shift competitive experiences for newcomers and veterans. New maps and modes may draw lapsed players back and extend streaming/content creation around the game. If technical upgrades and quality-of-life changes land well, they could influence expectations for other free-to-play shooters, though outcomes depend on execution and player reception.
