Luca Guadagnino and Stefano Baisi Unveil a Polished Zara Home Line
Filmmaker Luca Guadagnino and architect Stefano Baisi have created a Zara Home collection featuring over 200 furniture and decor items, along with apparel. Their design references range from the Vienna Secession to French Art Deco, Brazilian modernism, and Italian radical design, with a Koloman Moser box serving as a key inspiration. The resulting pieces are described as polished, angular, and tailored, with a cohesive style that draws on tradition while seeking its own identity.
Guadagnino and Baisi have collaborated for almost ten years; Baisi has led the filmmaker’s interior architecture practice since 2017. Their Zara Home project spans more than 200 furniture and decor objects and includes clothing. Inspiration came from sources including Vienna Secession, French Art Deco, Brazilian modernism, and Italian radical design, with a Koloman Moser box especially influential.
The launch includes a Guadagnino-directed short film written by Scott Z. Burns, featuring Jamie Bell, Chase Sui Wonders, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Patricia Arquette, with Baisi designing sets. A two-day Milan pop-up at La Pelota runs September 26–27 during Fashion Week. Prices range from $16.90 to $18,400, available from September 26 at zarahome.com.
