Genmab Prepares for Three Late-Stage Cancer Trial Results in Fourth Quarter
Genmab expects Phase III readouts for three late-stage oncology programs in the fourth quarter, according to VP and head of investor relations Andrew Carlsen. The company views the programs as potential first-in-class opportunities.
Genmab’s fourth-quarter calendar includes three pivotal oncology readouts: EPKINLY with R-CHOP in previously untreated DLBCL, Rina-S in later-line platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, and petosemtamab with KEYTRUDA in first-line metastatic head and neck cancer. Management considers each capable of being first of their kind. No exact sequence or dates were disclosed.
Rina-S came via the 2024 ProfoundBio purchase and now spans five Phase III studies, including endometrial and platinum-sensitive settings. Petosemtamab arrived through the December 2025 Merus deal; its head and neck trials were enlarged. If data and regulators cooperate, Genmab aims for 2027 launches.
If the readouts are positive, patients with DLBCL, platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, and metastatic head and neck cancer could see additional treatment options, potentially representing new categories. Clinicians and caregivers may gain more choices, though access, cost, and tolerability may shape real-world benefit.
