Footwear included fresh takes on the F wedge, first developed by founder Salvatore Ferragamo in 1947, and the Vara pump. Davis also nodded to 1940s dressing through coatdresses with pronounced shoulders and tailoring set at raised waists, plus see-through rubber garments tied to nurses and women’s uniforms from the early 1900s.
