Airtel Bundles Amazon Prime Lite With Selected Broadband Plans
Airtel is adding Amazon Prime Lite to selected Xstream Fiber and AirFiber broadband plans. The eligible plans are priced at Rs 999, Rs 1199, Rs 1599, and Rs 3999, and customers must claim the benefit via the Airtel Thanks app's Rewards and OTTs section. Amazon Prime Lite usually costs Rs 799 annually and was recently included in a Reliance Jio offer.
Airtel’s new benefit targets four broadband tiers: Rs 999, Rs 1199, Rs 1599, and Rs 3999. It applies to Xstream Fiber and AirFiber users, who must redeem it through a designated rewards and streaming area in the Airtel Thanks app. Prime Lite normally costs Rs 799 a year and was recently part of a Reliance Jio anniversary offer.
The subscription includes Prime Video and other Amazon Prime advantages, though delivery speeds are slower. Airtel says it may end the offer at any time, and customers who already received Amazon Prime access through another Airtel service cannot claim it. Activation uses the Amazon credentials provided during redemption.
Bundling Prime Lite could make Airtel’s broadband tiers more appealing to households seeking entertainment and shopping benefits, potentially shaping plan choices among existing and new users. It may also encourage rival providers to add similar OTT bundles. Because redemption requires the Airtel Thanks app and eligibility rules apply, the benefit may mainly reach digitally comfortable subscribers, possibly strengthening reliance on telecom-provider ecosystems.
