Ann Demeulemeester Marks Print Volume With Milan Fan Event

Ann Demeulemeester returned to her Milan flagship on Friday for a signing of “Ann Demeulemeester: Print.” The coffee-table volume, issued by Hannibal and initiated by her son Victor Robyn, gathers the designer’s fashion show invitations. Antonioli Group, which owns the label and supported the launch, currently has Stefano Gallici as designer.
The signing for “Ann Demeulemeester: Print” took place at the label’s Milan flagship on Friday, drawing fans wearing Demeulemeester pieces. The book, released by Hannibal, was conceived by her son Victor Robyn and compiles the designer’s show invitations. A limited version adds an original spring 1998 invitation and a special folder; copies are available via Hannibal’s online shop, partner bookstores, and the Milan and Antwerp stores.
Demeulemeester founded her brand with Patrick Robyn in 1985 and stepped away from fashion in 2014. Her invitations have appeared in a dedicated room within MoMu Antwerp’s “The Antwerp Six” exhibition, open through Jan. 17. The label is owned by Antonioli Group, which backed the launch, and Stefano Gallici currently designs it.
This event may strengthen interest in fashion history and archival design, potentially affecting collectors, students, and fans who encounter Demeulemeester’s visual legacy through the book. It could also draw attention to Antwerp’s influence and to the current brand under Antonioli Group and Stefano Gallici, possibly shaping how newer audiences view independent Belgian design and the commercial value of fashion ephemera.
