Clancy Defense Attorney Criticizes Holdout Juror's Lawyer After Media Spat
Kevin Reddington, the defense attorney for Lindsay Clancy, responded sharply to Edward Paltzik, the lawyer for the lone juror who wanted a conviction. Reddington called Paltzik a 'histrionic individual' and said his motions in the case are legitimate. Paltzik had argued that the defense's request for an inquiry into the holdout juror threatened the Constitution.

Paltzik later said he would not back down, labeled Clancy a demon, and faulted Reddington's post-mistrial remarks accusing the juror of having an agenda and taking something from fellow jurors. Reddington also joked about a "Shooter McGavin" reference.
