Siemens Healthineers Launches Accela Radiotherapy System
Siemens Healthineers has introduced Accela, a radiotherapy system built for single breath-hold stereotactic treatments and multi-site SBRT. The platform uses NeoArc dynamic modulated arc therapy and can complete multi-site SBRT in about one minute. According to the company, this shortens both the time spent on the treatment table and the overall treatment course.
