Witcher 3 Bloody Baron Writer Rejoins CD Projekt Red

Karolina Stachyra, a writer known for The Witcher 3's Bloody Baron questline, has returned to CD Projekt Red after ten years away. She had recently consulted for the studio on a freelance basis before updating her LinkedIn to list a full-time expert writer role. Her previous credits include Hearts of Stone and more than 40 quests, though her current project has not been announced.

Karolina Stachyra, a writer whose Witcher 3 credits include the Bloody Baron questline, has rejoined CD Projekt Red full-time after roughly a decade away. She had already consulted for the studio on a freelance basis from February through July before updating LinkedIn in August to list an expert writer role. Her earlier work covered Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine storylines, and narrative design or dialogue for over 40 quests.

She left CDPR in 2016 for Techland, where she became Lead Narrative Designer and later Narrative Director on an unannounced fantasy project. CDPR has not said which game she is now supporting, while the studio is developing The Witcher 4, an original Witcher remake, and a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.
