Fortnite Confirms Five Nights at Freddy's Crossover for October 1
Epic Games has officially announced a Fortnite collaboration with Five Nights at Freddy's. The crossover is scheduled to launch on October 1 and will add several skins to the battle royale. A teaser trailer shows characters entering a building modeled after Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.
For years, Fortnite players asked Epic to bring Five Nights at Freddy's into the battle royale. Many doubted it would happen, but last month a construction site north of The Battlewoods caught attention because it resembled the pizzeria from the live-action films.
Epic then confirmed the crossover with a 40-second teaser. It shows player characters entering that pizzeria and being pursued by animatronics, with jump scares. The October 1 launch coincides with Fortnitemares. The trailer hints at Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy skins plus themed Back Blings, though Epic has not detailed all contents.
This crossover could bring Five Nights at Freddy's fans into Fortnite while exposing battle royale players to the horror series. Engagement, streaming coverage, and in-game spending may rise around the October 1 launch and Fortnitemares. Because FNAF features jump scares and animatronic horror, parents and younger players may weigh whether the themed content fits their comfort levels.
