Waterford Aero Club Sets October Sessions for Flight Instructors
Waterford Aero Club will run a Flight Instructor Seminar on 16 and 17 October, available online via Zoom, for instructors renewing or revalidating their certificates. A separate in-person Technical Training Day on 14 October will support those seeking instrument instruction privileges or an Instrument Rating Instructor certificate. Both events are designed to help instructors maintain and expand their EASA qualifications, with the seminar costing €350.
Waterford Aero Club will hold a Flight Instructor Seminar on 16–17 October. Delivered via Zoom, it targets instructors renewing or revalidating their FI Certificate. The refresher may be completed at any stage of the certificate’s three-year validity. Those who recently revalidated can use it again if no Assessment of competence is required; that assessment applies at every alternate revalidation. The fee is €350.
A separate in-person Technical Training Day on 14 October will help instructors add Instrument Instruction privileges to an FI Certificate or work toward an Instrument Rating Instructor Certificate.
