Aviomar and Ryanair Offer Fast-Track Pilot Training Pathway
Aviomar Flight Academy’s Ryanair Future Flyer Academy is a fast-track programme that takes aspiring pilots from no experience to a professional pilot career with Ryanair. Applicants who are accepted receive a conditional job offer, and after completing the course and final assessment Ryanair sponsors the Boeing 737 type rating. Training is delivered at centres in Rome, Monterotondo and Parma in Italy, and the programme will be represented at Pilot Careers Live in Dublin on 17 October 2026.
Aviomar’s Ryanair Future Flyer Academy accepts people with no flying background and moves them toward a Ryanair cockpit role. Those selected get a provisional employment offer; after finishing training and a final assessment, Ryanair covers the Boeing 737 type rating, easing a major cost hurdle.
Instruction is split among Rome Urbe, Monterotondo’s simulator centre and Parma Training Centre. The Italian sites offer stable weather and modern simulators, including Boeing 737 devices. The programme will be showcased at Pilot Careers Live in Dublin on 17 October 2026.
This pathway may broaden access to commercial aviation for candidates who lack independent funds, since type-rating sponsorship could reduce a key barrier. It could also strengthen Ryanair’s recruitment pipeline and increase competition among flight schools. For Italy, expanded cadet training may support local aviation jobs and training activity.
