Temenos and Hamilton Reserve Bank Win IDC Digital Banking Award

Temenos and Hamilton Reserve Bank received the 2026 IDC Real Results Award in Omni-Engagement Transformation. The award recognized Hamilton Reserve Bank's upgrade to the latest Temenos Digital platform. The bank reported 100% digital onboarding, onboarding time cut from five days to 20 minutes, 250% higher staff productivity, and significant growth in clients, deposits, and revenue.
Hamilton Reserve Bank, based in the Caribbean, serves customers across 150 countries and 126 currencies, with over US$25 billion in deposits and custodial assets. Its adoption of the newest Temenos Digital release supported international expansion and operational efficiency.
The IDC Real Results honor, in Omni-Engagement Transformation, marked Temenos’s second straight win. The bank reported fully digital onboarding, individual account setup reduced from five days to 20 minutes, 250% better staff productivity, 140% client growth, tenfold deposit and custodial asset gains, and 620% higher revenue and net income.
Faster digital onboarding could make banking more convenient for internationally mobile customers and reduce paperwork, while staff may shift toward higher-value work. The bank’s reported growth may support expanded services, but outcomes depend on cybersecurity, compliance, and reliable connectivity. People without strong digital access or documentation could still face barriers, so the social benefit may be uneven.
