Bo Nix Sparks Broncos Comeback as Denver Tops Rams
Denver erased an early deficit and scored 30 points after halftime to beat the Los Angeles Rams 30-26 on Sunday night. The Broncos improved to 2-1, while the Rams dropped to 1-2 despite entering the season with high expectations. Denver had scored just 10 first-half points across its first three games. Against Los Angeles, Nix led consecutive scoring drives and two-point conversions to tie it at 16 in the third quarter. His one-yard sneak won it, aided by penalties on Rams corner Josh Wallace and safety Quentin Lake.
The Rams, touted after adding Myles Garrett and Trent McDuffee, fell to 1-2. Stafford passed for 390 yards and two touchdowns, including a 48-yarder to Konata Mumpfield, but Hufanga intercepted him twice, returning one 66 yards. Kyren Williams totaled 158 scrimmage yards, and Davante Adams produced while Puka Nacua missed with a groin injury.
