Huawei has expanded its MatePad Air family with the MatePad Air Z, a 12-inch tablet using an LCD panel rather than the OLED screen on the 2026 MatePad Air. The display offers 2,800 × 1,840 resolution, refresh rates up to 144Hz, and 900-nit peak brightness, while the battery is rated at 10,100mAh with up to 16 hours of local video playback. It runs HarmonyOS 7, uses Kirin T93SD or T93S chips depending on version, and supports the M-Pencil Pro and an optional magnetic keyboard.
