Industry Trade Show Partners with Fitness Racing Event to Engage Health Professionals

The Health & Fitness Association has partnered with HYROX and Centr to integrate fitness racing experiences into the 2027 HFA Show, offering members 100 participant and 100 spectator slots for the HYROX Las Vegas event. Attendees will be able to experience a simulated HYROX race and explore competition equipment at the trade show, which takes place March 10-12 at Mandalay Bay alongside the HYROX event on March 12-14. The collaboration aims to connect fitness industry leaders with the competitive fitness community.
The collaboration represents a strategic effort to bridge two distinct segments of the fitness world. The HFA Show, a professional trade gathering for gym operators and equipment suppliers, will operate simultaneously with HYROX Las Vegas, a competitive fitness racing event. This timing allows industry decision-makers to observe what competitive fitness experiences look like while giving race participants exposure to the commercial fitness ecosystem that supports their training.
The partnership includes an experiential component where trade show attendees can test a simulated HYROX course at the Centr booth and examine official competition equipment. On the final day of the show, the arrangement reverses—HYROX participants and affiliated gym owners gain floor access to the trade show, exposing a fitness-engaged audience to industry innovations they might not otherwise encounter. This cross-pollination could influence how commercial fitness facilities design their offerings.
This partnership may affect how fitness professionals approach facility programming and member engagement. Gym operators and studio owners exposed to competitive fitness racing could potentially incorporate hybrid training models or competition-style experiences into their member offerings, diversifying revenue streams. Conversely, the HYROX community gains insight into commercial fitness business models and equipment innovation. The arrangement could influence industry trends by demonstrating demand for competitive fitness experiences, potentially shaping how facilities invest in equipment and training methodologies over the coming years.
