New International Standard Helps Organizations Embed Sustainable Development Goals into Operations and Strategy
The International Organization for Standardization and the United Nations Development Programme jointly launched ISO/UNDP 53001, described as the first international standard specifically designed to help organizations implement the Sustainable Development Goals into their governance, strategy, and daily operations. The standard enables organizations to identify relevant SDGs for their context, establish objectives, and measure progress while creating accountability mechanisms for demonstrating sustainability performance.
