Landman Season 3 Commences Production in Texas With Four Cast Members Elevated to Series Regular Status
Production on Paramount+ drama "Landman" Season 3 has begun in Fort Worth, Texas, with four cast members—Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Manuez, and Francesca Xuereb—promoted to series regular status for the upcoming season. Michael Kelly has also joined the cast as William Crockett, a powerful oil industry executive, while the show sets up Tommy's new family-owned oil business venture established at the end of Season 2. The ensemble cast led by Billy Bob Thornton returns alongside longtime series regulars including Demi Moore and Sam Elliott.
"Landman" Season 3 marks a significant expansion of its supporting cast, with four actors stepping up from recurring roles to series regular positions. These promotions reflect the show's growing confidence in these characters and their storylines as the drama enters its third season, suggesting their roles will become more central to the narrative moving forward.
The new season builds directly on Season 2's conclusion, with protagonist Tommy establishing a family-operated oil business that brings together multiple generations of his family. This venture promises to shift the show's focus toward more hands-on fieldwork and operational management, potentially offering fresh storytelling opportunities centered on day-to-day industry challenges rather than broader corporate dynamics.
The expansion of "Landman's" cast and production scope could signal the show's strengthening position within Paramount+'s entertainment portfolio, potentially influencing streaming industry decisions about drama series longevity and budget allocation. Viewers invested in supporting characters may see increased investment in their narratives, while the addition of established actors like Michael Kelly could attract broader audiences and affect competition for viewers among premium streaming platforms.
