Golden Goose Appoints Luxury Retail Veteran Giorgio Belloli as Chief Consumer Officer

Golden Goose has appointed Giorgio Belloli, a veteran from Burberry and Farfetch, as its new chief consumer officer to oversee global market development and omnichannel strategy. Belloli will lead international expansion efforts and enhance the brand's digital channels and customer relationship management systems. He succeeds Danilo Piarulli, who departed earlier this year to become CEO of Autry.
Giorgio Belloli brings three decades of experience across prestigious luxury conglomerates to his new position. His career trajectory spans the Prada Group's multiple brands, Kering-owned fashion houses, and a decade-long tenure at Farfetch, where he rose to chief commercial and sustainability officer. Most recently, he spent three years at Burberry leading digital innovation and customer strategy alongside creative director Daniel Lee.
Golden Goose has demonstrated substantial momentum in recent performance metrics, with first-half 2026 revenues reaching €380.4 million, representing 15 percent growth. The brand's expansion includes 230 global locations and experimental retail concepts, such as the Milan Younique Café featuring listening bars and thematic market-inspired environments. These developments reflect the company's strategic pivot toward experiential retail beyond traditional product sales.
Belloli's appointment may signal luxury brands' intensifying focus on omnichannel integration and direct consumer engagement. His mandate to transform Golden Goose into a cultural platform could influence how premium footwear and lifestyle brands balance digital presence with physical retail experiences. Consumers may encounter more collaborative, community-oriented store environments, while industry competitors may accelerate similar strategic shifts toward experiential retail and co-creation models within the luxury sector.
