Metalero Advances Benson Copper-Gold Property Deal, Pending Exchange Approval

Metalero Mining has provided an update on its option to acquire full interest in the Benson copper-gold property in British Columbia, which comprises 21 contiguous mineral claims across 166 square kilometers. The company has paid $40,000 of the required $100,000 cash consideration and expects to complete the remaining payment by January 2027, with share issuance pending TSX Venture Exchange approval. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval before it can proceed.
Metalero Mining is progressing toward full ownership of a British Columbia mineral property after signing an initial agreement in January 2025. The Benson project spans 166 square kilometers in a geologically favorable region for copper-gold deposits, located near Quesnel. The company has committed approximately $40,000 of the total $100,000 cash requirement to date, with the remainder due by early 2027.
The acquisition also includes share compensation that hinges on regulatory clearance from the TSX Venture Exchange. Prior exploration work on the property has generated nearly $280,000 in documented expenditures. Exchange approval remains the critical gating factor for completing both the option exercise and the subsequent share issuance at a predetermined minimum valuation.
The transaction could affect local mining activity and exploration investment in British Columbia's resource sector. Approval may signal regulatory confidence in junior mining ventures, potentially influencing investor appetite for similar property acquisitions in the region. For Metalero shareholders, share dilution from the 2 million new shares represents a tangible equity cost, while property acquisition could add asset value depending on future exploration results and commodity prices.
