Dancing with the Stars Pros Plan Selective Tour Participation to Prioritize Family Time
Professional dancers Daniella Karagach and her husband Pasha Pashkov will not participate in the full Dancing with the Stars tour, with Daniella explaining the couple wants to take time to focus on their family, including their 3-year-old daughter Nikita. She indicated they may make occasional appearances for select tour dates rather than committing to the entire run, noting that after multiple tours they need a break to spend quality time together. The tour cast announcement notably excluded the couple along with Jan Ravnik.
The Dancing with the Stars tour roster has undergone notable changes this season, with several established performers stepping back from full-time participation. Beyond Karagach and Pashkov's decision, Jan Ravnik similarly did not make the announced cast, suggesting a broader shift in how the show's professional dancers are balancing touring commitments with personal priorities.
The couple's decision reflects the demanding nature of touring schedules in the entertainment industry. Having participated in multiple previous tour cycles, Karagach and Pashkov are opting for a more flexible arrangement that would allow them to maintain family stability while potentially contributing to select performances rather than committing to an extended road schedule.
This development may influence how entertainment industry professionals approach work-life balance negotiations, particularly in touring-based careers. The couple's public prioritization of family time could resonate with other performers considering similar decisions. Additionally, the tour's ability to proceed with a full roster of other professionals suggests the show maintains sufficient depth in its talent pool to accommodate such selective participation, though fan engagement may be affected by the absence of particularly popular cast members.
