OpenAI rolls out GPT-6 and interactive visual answers in ChatGPT

OpenAI introduced Intelligent UI, which lets ChatGPT respond with interactive elements such as charts, forms, buttons, maps, and follow-up questions. The company is also expanding GPT-6 to more ChatGPT tiers, with Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users getting GPT-6 Sol and Free and Go users receiving GPT-6 Luna. GPT-6 is limited to the Chat tab, and OpenAI says the new interface uses streamable native components generated alongside model output.
OpenAI's Intelligent UI lets ChatGPT reply with interactive elements, including charts, forms, buttons, maps, diagrams, and branching prompts. The system relies on built-in components that stream and a compiler that builds the interface while the model produces output. GPT-6 can begin answering before it finishes reasoning, which may shorten waits.
GPT-6 reaches Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise today as Sol, while Free and Go users receive Luna tomorrow. It remains confined to the Chat tab; Work and Codex models are unchanged. OpenAI says responses will become more visual and easier for complex topics.
The shift toward visual, interactive replies could change how people use ChatGPT for learning, planning, and routine tasks. Students, workers, and casual users may find complex information easier to grasp, while businesses could build lightweight tools without separate software. Yet reliance on generated interfaces may raise questions about accuracy, accessibility, and how much users trust automated answers. The staggered rollout may also widen experience gaps between paid and free users, at least initially.
