Vodafone Adopts CUJO AI as CityFibre and GoNetspeed Expand Broadband Networks

Vodafone Group has chosen CUJO AI's Quality of Outcome technology to monitor application-level performance across millions of European fixed-broadband gateways. CityFibre reported 1.108 million customer connections, 4.8 million premises passed, and revenue growth for the first nine months of 2026. GoNetspeed announced a $23 million privately funded fiber-to-the-home build in Haverhill, Massachusetts, intended to reach more than 17,500 homes and businesses with speeds up to 6 Gbps.
Vodafone is using CUJO AI’s Quality of Outcome system to assess how fixed-broadband connections handle specific services, including games, video calls, and cloud tools. One European network already runs it, with more deployments planned. The vendor’s platform spans 63 million homes and roughly 72,000 device types, and Vodafone has trialed it with Low Latency DOCSIS.
CityFibre’s UK full-fiber footprint now reaches 4.8 million premises, with 4.6 million service-ready, and 1.108 million customer connections after 52% yearly growth. It added 260,000 consumer lines in the first nine months of 2026, up 23%, while revenue hit £164 million and adjusted EBITDA £60 million. GoNetspeed’s $23 million Haverhill build will offer up to 6 Gbps to over 17,500 premises, starting construction in 2027.

These moves could affect European broadband subscribers and residents in Haverhill, Massachusetts, by making network performance more visible and expanding high-speed fiber options. Better application-level monitoring may help providers resolve gaming, video-call, and cloud-service issues faster, while new fiber could support remote work, education, and local businesses. Benefits may depend on pricing, take-up, and whether monitoring is explained clearly to customers.
