CyboPal ONE puts a 4K monitor on a robotic arm

The CyboPal ONE combines a 27-inch 4K 160Hz display with a six-axis robotic arm that adjusts to the user's posture. It uses a binocular 3D sensor for obstacle avoidance and face tracking, repositioning the screen in under four seconds. The device includes its own Rockchip RK3588 computer and is offered on Kickstarter from $1,599, with a planned retail price of $2,499.
The campaign's funding has surpassed its initial target by a wide margin, with the Kickstarter page showing more than HK$8.8 million pledged against an HK$80,000 goal before its November 21, 2026 close. Visible backer count was around 255, while a third-party tracker listed over 450, possibly reflecting $30 deposits for a $1,499 reservation.
Inside, an eight-core Rockchip RK3588 with a 6 TOPS NPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage runs the arm's sensing and movement features. A USB-C connection links it to a host computer and can deliver 65W charging; HDMI 2.1 lets other devices use the panel. The screen can also remember positions or switch to portrait.
If such robotic displays become more common, they could reshape expectations for home offices by automatically adapting screens to sitting, standing, or reclining users. Desk workers, gamers, and people with posture or mobility challenges may benefit most, while the $1,599 entry price and need for a separate computer may keep adoption niche. Always-on cameras and spatial sensors could also prompt privacy considerations, though the product's actual safeguards and long-term reliability remain unproven.
