Microsoft has revealed which games will come to Xbox Game Pass during the second half of October 2026. The lineup includes Valor Mortis, a new title, and Battlefield 6, a major AAA release.
Battlefield 6’s arrival is scheduled just days before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. That close timing places two releases near each other on the subscription service’s calendar.
For Xbox Game Pass subscribers, the addition of Battlefield 6 just before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 could shape which games they try first and how much time they spend in each. It may also influence subscription value perceptions, as players weigh access to these titles against other entertainment costs. Developers and publishers could feel pressure to time launches carefully, while players may benefit from more choice—though attention and playtime remain limited.
