RedMagic 12 Pro+ Shown With Under-Display Camera Before October 15 Debut

Nubia has revealed the design of the RedMagic 12 Pro+ ahead of its October 15 launch in China. The gaming phone features an under-display front camera, slimmer bezels, and a lighter, more rounded body. It will use Qualcomm's sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition platform.
Nubia has previewed the RedMagic 12 Pro+ before its China event on October 15 at 2:30 PM. The gaming handset keeps an under-display selfie camera, so the front remains free of a punch-hole. Its screen border shrinks from 1.25mm to 0.96mm, while the body is promoted as slimmer, lighter, and more rounded.
It will use a sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition processor from Qualcomm. RedMagic says the model targets stable performance and better cooling during long play sessions. General manager Jiang Chao has framed it around gamers’ needs, though full specifications are still pending until launch.
This design may appeal to mobile gamers who value uninterrupted screens and long sessions. A lighter, slimmer body could make extended handheld play less tiring, while under-display cameras may influence how other makers approach full-screen fronts. Everyday users might see benefits if these ergonomic and display choices become more common, though real-world trade-offs remain to be seen.
