Jeremy Clarkson to Build a Car From Farm Materials in New Prime Video Special

Prime Video has announced Jeremy Grows a Car: A Clarkson's Farm Special, a one-off episode scheduled for 2027. Jeremy Clarkson will restore a Jaguar F-Type V6S using leather and wool from his farm while trying to grow flax for a composite material. Car designer Ian Callum will help with the project.
The special is a one-off entry in Clarkson’s Farm, the Prime Video series that began in June 2021. It places Clarkson back in automotive territory after his final Grand Tour episode, “One for the Road,” aired in 2024.
He will work from a Jaguar F-Type V6S, fitting Diddly Squat leather and wool, while attempting a flax crop for a composite material. Ian Callum CBE, who designed the original F-Type plus models for Jaguar and Aston Martin, will assist.
The special could bridge Clarkson’s farming and motoring audiences, giving Prime Video a broad crossover draw. Viewers interested in sustainable materials may see flax composites and farm-sourced interiors discussed in an entertainment setting, while carmakers and agricultural producers might gain informal visibility. Its impact may remain cultural rather than industrial, but it could encourage more mainstream curiosity about where vehicle materials come from.
