Resident Evil 30th Anniversary Restaurant Event Set for October

Capcom and Japanese chain Pasela Resorts are launching a Resident Evil 30th anniversary event on October 13. The limited-time menu includes three entrees, two desserts, and cocktails inspired by the series' heroes, and it is scheduled to run until December 7. The celebration highlights the survival horror franchise's continued popularity.
Capcom is collaborating with Japanese dining chain Pasela Resorts on a limited-time Resident Evil menu. From October 13 through December 7, participating locations in Japan will serve three main dishes, two desserts, and hero-themed cocktails.
The mains include a Duke's Kitchen chicken-and-pork platter with onions, mushrooms, garlic, and soft-boiled eggs in a spicy sauce; a Zombie's Eye keema curry styled with egg, olives, peppers, and tomato to resemble an eye; and an Umbrella-logo margherita pizza with green basil sauce. Desserts feature a honey toast with chocolate, ice cream, berries, cookies, and raspberry sauce, plus a coffee-jelly parfait with injectable blue lychee syrup.
This event may draw Resident Evil fans, food enthusiasts, and tourists to Pasela Resorts locations in Japan, potentially boosting local dining traffic during its run. It could also strengthen the franchise's cultural visibility around its 30th anniversary, showing how game brands extend into themed food and merchandise. For fans outside Japan, the limited availability may fuel online interest and disappointment, while Japanese diners get a temporary novelty experience.
