Garmin Debuts Enduro 4 and Approach S72 with Long Battery Life and Golf Features

Garmin introduced the Enduro 4 and Approach S72 sports watches. The Enduro 4 is rated for up to 320 hours in activity mode or 90 days in smartwatch mode with solar charging, and it adds more RAM and faster map panning. The Approach S72 targets golfers with a bright AMOLED display and course-focused information.
EXPANDED:
Garmin's Enduro 4 emphasizes endurance over display flash. Its 51mm body weighs 66 grams and combines a titanium bezel, sapphire lens, and polymer case. The 1.4-inch MIP screen pairs with solar charging, while a fabric strap and red/white flashlight support long outings. Garmin also claims 50% more memory than Enduro 3 and 30% quicker map movement, plus grade-adjusted pacing, stamina tracking, and multi-day activity grouping.
The Approach S72 comes in 43mm and 47mm versions with AMOLED screens, titanium bezels, sapphire lenses, and fabric bands. It links heart-rate patterns to completed rounds and records swing data such as hand speed, backswing length, and wrist rotation. Course features include contour-based green reading, aerial hole views, and putting analytics; some need a Garmin Golf subscription. Battery estimates range from 15 to 20 hours of golf and 10 to 16 days in watch mode.
