Aerosmith Taps Guns N' Roses for Hollywood Bowl Comeback Concerts

Aerosmith has added Guns N' Roses to the lineup for its two comeback concerts at the Hollywood Bowl on October 29th and November 1st. The dates will be Aerosmith's first performances since the band stopped touring in 2024 because of Steven Tyler's vocal injury. Guns N' Roses joins a guest list that also includes Sammy Hagar, Jerry Cantrell, Heart, The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Billy Idol, and others.
Aerosmith’s two Hollywood Bowl dates, set for Oct. 29 and Nov. 1, will mark the group’s return to the stage after Steven Tyler’s vocal injury forced a 2024 touring halt. The shows are billed as “California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends.”
Guns N’ Roses have now been added to the guest roster. Slash and Duff McKagan had initially been announced separately, but they will appear with their full band. Other participants include Sammy Hagar, Jerry Cantrell, Heart, The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Billy Idol, Chad Smith, Eric Church, Mike Inez, Sully Erna, and Tom Morello. A Ticketmaster presale is active, with general sales beginning Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. PT.
The reunion-style concerts may draw longtime rock fans, tourists, and local Hollywood businesses, while giving Aerosmith followers a chance to see the band after Tyler’s health setback. The expanded guest lineup could broaden appeal across rock, metal, and hip-hop audiences, potentially boosting ticket demand and media attention. It may also highlight how legacy acts rely on collaborative events to reconnect with audiences, though the actual cultural or economic effects will depend on turnout and reception.
