Air France to launch San Diego and Nashville service while ending Denver route

Air France will start flying from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to San Diego on May 3, 2027, and to Nashville on May 14, 2027, with three weekly flights. The routes will be operated by Airbus A350-900s, and the Nashville service uses flight number AF46 to honor Dolly Parton's birth year. The airline will end its seasonal Denver flights on Oct. 10, while United plans to begin Denver-Paris service in 2027.
Air France will add Paris-Charles de Gaulle flights to San Diego on May 3, 2027, and Nashville on May 14. Both run three times weekly—Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays—aboard A350-900s with business, premium economy, extra-legroom economy and economy cabins. Nashville’s AF46 nods to Dolly Parton’s 1946 birth year.
Air France will end seasonal Denver service after Oct. 10; it started in 2021. The airline says Denver capacity will move to other routes without reducing regional totals. United plans daily Denver-Paris flights from May 27, 2027, using a 787-9. Air France’s transatlantic joint venture includes Delta, KLM and Virgin Atlantic; Delta has announced 2027 Europe routes from Austin, Boston and Detroit.
The new Paris links could give San Diego and Nashville travelers more one-stop access to Europe and may draw French visitors to those regions, potentially supporting tourism and business ties. Denver passengers may see little disruption because United’s planned Paris route could preserve nonstop connectivity
