Mafia III: Definitive Edition Arrives Natively on Current-Gen Consoles

Mafia III: Definitive Edition now has native PS5 and Xbox Series versions. Owners of the PS4 or Xbox One releases can upgrade at no extra cost, and the PC version has also received an update. The current-gen release adds 60 FPS gameplay, visual and UI improvements, mission progression fixes, and better achievement tracking.
2K and Hangar 13 have launched native PS5 and Xbox Series editions, and existing PS4 or Xbox One owners can get them without paying again. A PC update arrived alongside them.
The main improvement is smoother action: gameplay and most real-time cutscenes now aim for 60 FPS, while certain pre-rendered films remain at 30 FPS. The patch also addresses campaign and DLC mission blockers, Trophy and Achievement tracking, AI and NPC behavior, driving, combat, weapons, textures, lighting, vegetation streaming, pop-in, subtitles, objective markers, and menus.
