Massey Ferguson expands tractor range with 7S Mark 2 lineup

Massey Ferguson introduced the 7S Mark 2 Series, a six-model tractor line with power ratings from 170 to 245 horsepower. The tractors are positioned between the MF 7S and MF 8S Xtra, with full production and first deliveries expected in spring 2027. The series features a new 7.5-liter AGCO Power engine, a standard Dyna-VT transmission, larger fuel and AdBlue tanks, and an updated cab with Datatronic 6 display.
Massey Ferguson's 7S Mark 2 family adds six tractors rated 170–245 hp, filling a size/power gap between the MF 7S and MF 8S Xtra. Existing 7S tractors remain available, while full output and initial customer handovers are planned for spring 2027.
The new 7.5-liter six-cylinder AGCO Power engine uses one turbo, Stage V compliance without EGR, and flat torque from 800–1,500 rpm. Standard Dyna-VT, 57 km/h top speed, larger 410-liter fuel and 56.5-liter AdBlue tanks, and cab tech including Datatronic 6 and PTx FarmEngage are included.
Larger, more efficient tractors may help farms and contractors manage heavier implements and transport loads, potentially lowering fuel and labor costs. That could support productivity and food supply resilience, though benefits depend on adoption costs and farm scale. Manufacturers, dealers, and rural service networks may see demand shifts. Environmental impact may vary with use and emissions standards.
