Raye announces orchestral Royal Albert Hall concert

Raye will perform a single concert at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 23, titled This Symphony May Contain Hope. She will play her album This Music May Contain Hope in full with her band, the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective. A new orchestral version of I Will Overcome has been shared, recorded at Abbey Road with the London Symphony Orchestra, ahead of ticket sales.
EXPANDED:
The London vocalist will take over the Royal Albert Hall on October 23 for a one-night symphonic reworking of her second album, This Music May Contain Hope. Her own band will share the stage with the Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective, and an orchestral take on “I Will Overcome,” cut at Abbey Road with the London Symphony Orchestra, previews the event. Tickets go on general sale October 15 at 10am, with presales from October 13.
This follows her 2023 Royal Albert Hall performance, where the 50-piece Heritage Orchestra and Flames Collective helped reinterpret My 21st Century Blues; that concert became Live At The Royal Albert Hall, aired by BBC and PBS, and earned a Grammy music-film nomination. She later brought the symphonic format to a sold-out O2 show in 2024. Recent months included MTV VMAs and Reading & Leeds appearances, plus Montreux Jazz Festival guests Alicia Keys and Mark Ronson. She will also act in Lineage.
