Final two Leisure Suit Larry titles to leave Steam this month

Assemble Entertainment will delist Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice from Steam on October 23. Both games are currently heavily discounted on Steam in the US, as well as on GOG and Switch. The previous seven Leisure Suit Larry titles were removed from Steam last year, though the publisher has not explained the reason for the latest removals.
Assemble Entertainment has set October 23 as the Steam removal date for the two most recent Leisure Suit Larry entries, Wet Dreams Don’t Dry and Wet Dreams Dry Twice. Before then, both are discounted by 95% in the US on Steam, and priced at $1.99 or £0.89 on GOG and Switch.
The earlier seven titles left Steam in 2025. A possible cause involves licensing: an Assemble staffer once said Codemasters owned the IP and had licensed online distribution to Assemble, while GOG was excluded. EA now owns Codemasters. The eighth game, Box Office Bust, is not sold digitally.
Fans of the long-running comedy adventure series may lose easy access to the final two titles on Steam, though GOG and Switch discounts offer temporary alternatives. Preservationists could see another example of digital storefront removals complicating game history. Because licensing disputes may drive delistings, consumers and researchers may face gaps unless they buy before the deadline or rely on other platforms.
