Amazon Discounts All M5 MacBook Air Models by $200
Amazon has cut $200 off every M5 MacBook Air model. The 512GB 13-inch version now starts at $1,099, while the 512GB 15-inch model starts at $1,299. Most colors are in stock, and delivery is estimated for early next week.
Amazon’s markdown applies across the M5 MacBook Air range, including higher-capacity and higher-memory variants. For the 13-inch model, the 16GB/512GB option is $1,099, the 16GB/1TB is $1,399, and the 24GB/1TB is $1,599. The 15-inch versions start at $1,299 for 16GB/512GB, rising to $1,599 for 16GB/1TB and $1,799 for 24GB/1TB.
Most color choices are listed as available. Standard shipping estimates suggest arrival in the early part of next week, with Prime members likely getting faster service. The report also discloses an affiliate relationship and points readers toward an Apple deals roundup and a newsletter.
The $200 reduction could make these premium laptops somewhat more attainable for students, remote workers, and creative professionals, potentially encouraging upgrades or earlier replacements. Because the devices remain expensive, the broader social effect may be limited. A concentrated Amazon promotion could nudge some weekend spending toward the retailer and may pressure competing sellers to respond with similar offers. Consumers who were already considering an M5 MacBook Air are most likely to benefit, while others may simply see another seasonal tech discount.
