LEGO Halloween Snow Globe Spins with a Hand Crank

A LEGO Ideas project creates a Halloween-themed snow globe with a graveyard scene inside. Turning a hand crank rotates the scene 360 degrees, revealing a skeleton and spider hidden behind tombstones. The build includes a dead tree, ghost, jack-o'-lantern scarecrow, gravestones, gargoyle, full moon, and vampire minifigure.
The snow globe dates to 1900, when Viennese surgical instrument mechanic Erwin Perzy accidentally created one while seeking a brighter operating-room lamp; a glass sphere filled with drifting semolina was the result. Christmas has dominated the format for roughly 125 years, leaving Halloween without a comparable glass-dome tradition.
This LEGO Ideas design comes from The Brick Artist, who previously made a spinning Christmas Snow Globe in December. It reuses a similar internal chassis, now adapted to a black Halloween graveyard with a hand-cranked 360-degree rotation.
This project may appeal to LEGO fans, Halloween enthusiasts, and collectors who want seasonal decor that invites interaction. If produced, it could encourage hands-on display pieces and fan-designed Ideas sets, while giving Halloween collectors a rare alternative to Christmas snow globes. Its crank-and-reveal mechanic may also inspire builders to create moving scenes rather than static models. However, as a fan project, its actual reach depends on approval and availability.
