White says Hearn helped secure UK venue for Fury-Joshua

Dana White has praised Eddie Hearn for helping ensure the Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua fight takes place in the UK. The heavyweight bout is set for Cardiff's Principality Stadium after attempts to stage it at New York's Madison Square Garden failed. White, who heads Zuffa Boxing, said he is tired of his public dispute with Hearn and wants attention on the fighters; the event will be streamed on Netflix.
The bout is scheduled for Principality Stadium in Cardiff, with the undercard beginning on 11 December and the main event likely after midnight. Organisers had hoped for Madison Square Garden, but Joshua and Hearn used their contract to keep it in Britain.
White, UFC president and Zuffa Boxing chief, said his team will produce the Netflix broadcast. He described himself as one promoter alongside Frank Warren and Hearn, while stressing the feud has become tedious and the focus should remain on Fury and Joshua.
The event may draw significant attention to boxing and Netflix's live sports ambitions, potentially expanding casual audiences. Cardiff hospitality and transport could see increased demand around the date, while local residents may face disruption from late-night crowds. For fighters and promoters, the outcome could shape future cross-promotional deals and UK versus Saudi/US staging negotiations.
